Common sense of skateboarding
1. The basic stance of the skateboard is generally to stand on the middle of the board with the front foot, the forefoot of the back foot is in the middle of the tail, and the face is facing the direction of the board. Beginners tend to lower their heads down to the board or not to look at the direction of travel. This is the same mistake as beginners who like to look at the front wheels. It will make the field of vision smaller and too tight.
2. Skateboard training needs to be carried out step by step. Make sure that the power of the action comes from the imbalance caused by the back foot forcefully stepping on the board. The front foot is lifted to restore the balance of the board. At the same time, both the person and the board achieve the purpose of jumping. As the perfection of technique will gradually approach the limit of ability, there is no need to rush for success, the basic exercises of leg strength and bounce will also be of great help.
3. Wheelbase: the distance between the front and rear wheels. This parameter affects the overall feel of an Allegro, the longer the wheelbase, the more stable it feels, but the slower the speed, and vice versa. Usually the wheelbase is about 50cm, the wheelbase of free-style board is only about 40cm, but the old board has 55-80cm.
4. The foot socket is the curved and concave part of the board. In addition to freestyle boards, the popular boards now have foot sockets, which is also for skateboarders to better control the skateboard.
