There are 4 types: freeriding board type, speedboarding board type, boardwalking board type, technical sliding board type. The specific features are introduced below.
The first one: freeriding board type
The freeride board type had no specific form in the past. As long as the board is on the premise of downhill, making all kinds of drift, carve, sliding and various ingenious tricks, it can be used as this board type.
But now, the standard for freeride board type is that the board body can be used in both directions, plus a relatively deep wheel well (wheel well), and usually a drop-through type bridge (reverse installation bridge) is used. The wheels usually use 70-76mm, 78a-89a.
The second one: speedboarding board type
This board was born for speed. The characteristics of this board type are: stable, medium-degree depression of the board surface, and the tail of the board cannot allow you to kick the board like the freeride board type. The length of the board is generally 36-46cm, with drop-through and top-mount as the freeride board type. The structure, the wheels usually use 70-100mm, 78a-89a, most players in the competition now prefer to use 70-75mm.
The material can be maple or composite material (such as carbon + maple)
The third: boardwalking board type
This board belongs to freestyle. Players usually make various actions (like dancing) on ??the board. Usually the length is 40-60cm, the board has or has no dents, and there is no wheel bite problem. The wheels are usually 70mm-76mm, 77a-84a. For the bridge, there are formal and reverse installations.
Fourth: technical sliding board type
This board is mostly used to play slides, usually on a section of slope, making various rotations from top to bottom. People who play this type usually wear a full set of protective gear (knees, elbows, hands, head), and the length of this board is usually 34 ——38cm.
